تمديد حالة الطوارئ جراء بركان جبل اجونج

جاكرتا، إندونيسيا اليوم – قام حاكم بالي يوم السبت (28/10) بتمديد حالة الطوارئ جراء بركان جبل اجونج حتى 9 نوفمبر، على الرغم من انخفاض النشاط الزلزالي. (إقرأ أيضا: اهم أماكن السياحة في بالي)

وقال سوتوبو نوغرو المتحدث باسم وكالة مكافحة الكوارث الوطنية في بيان أن أكثر من 133400 شخص في الجزيرة مشردون وتم اجلاءهم إلى 385 مأوى يتوقعون انفجار البركان.

وقال “هذا هو التمديد الثالث منذ رفع حالة التأهب لجبل اجونج إلى أعلى مستوى“.

وقد أثير هذا الانذار قبل أكثر من شهر ولم يسمح بقيام أي نشاط في غضون 12 كيلومترا من حفرة البركان.

وقال المسؤول ان “حالة التأهب القصوى قد تكلفت بالفعل بين 1.5 روبية و 2 تريليون روبية“.

وذكر سوتوبو أن الحكومة ستقرر ما إذا كان يجب خفض مستوى التأهب لبركان منطقة كارانجاسام حيث أن نشاطها سيعود قريبا إلى طبيعته. (مصطفى/جاكرتا غلوب/معراج)

Jakarta, Indonesiaalyoum.com – The governor of Bali on Saturday (28/10) extended a state of emergency for Mount Agung until Nov. 9, despite decreasing seismic activity.

Currently, more than 133,400 people on the holiday island are internally displaced and have been evacuated to 385 shelters, expecting the volcano to erupt, National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) spokesman Sutopo Nugroho said in a statement.

“This is the third extension since the alert for Mount Agung was raised to highest level,”he said.

The alert was raised more than one month ago, and no activity is allowed within 12 kilometers from the volcano’s crater.

“The highest alert has [already] cost between Rp 1.5 [$110.15] and Rp 2 trillion,” the official said.

According to Sutopo, the government is going to decide whether the alert level should be decreased for the Karangasam district volcano, as its activity should soon return to normal.
