جزر باندا تحتفل بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية 350 لمعاهدة بريدا

مالوكو، اندونيسيا اليوم – بدأ أكثر من 300 مندوب رحلة بحرية ليلة أمس على متن سفينة الركاب KM بانجرانغو في جزر باندا يوم الجمعة (10/11) لحضور ندوة في باندا نيرا بمالوكو بمناسبة ذكرى مرور 350 عاما على معاهدة بريدا. (إقرأ أيضا: أفضل أماكن السياحية في اندونيسيا)

هذه المعاهدة، التي وقعت في مدينة بريدا الهولندية في 31 يوليو 1667، أسفرت عن انجلترا نقل السيطرة على جزيرة التوابل المربحة آنذاك من تشغيل في مالوكو إلى هولندا مقابل نيو أمستردام، أو مانهاتن الحديثة في نيويورك.

ومن المقرر أن يحضر المندوبون، بمن فيهم المؤرخون وعلماء الانثروبولوجيا والخبراء الثقافيون والأكاديميون والمسؤولون الحكوميون والدبلوماسيون من بعثات إندونيسيا في المملكة المتحدة وهولندا والولايات المتحدة، الندوة التي تعقد في باندا نيرا يوم السبت.

كما تتزامن الرحلة من أمبون الى باندا نيرا مع مهرجان الشعبي الباندا الذي بدأ يوم 11 أكتوبر وينتهى يوم السبت.

وقالت استي ريكو استوتي، نائبة وزير التنمية السياحية بوزارة السياحة “ان الندوة ستعرض جزر باندا كمقصد سياحى شهير، وقد عرفت باندا منذ قرون بتوابلها ومعالمها الطبيعية.”

غادرت KM بانجرانغو من أمبون يوم الجمعة ومن المقرر أن تصل إلى باندا نيرا في السادسة من صباح اليوم السبت. وسيحضر 350 مشاركا الندوة فى مدرسة حتا – صحرير باندا نيرا لتدريب المعلمين والتعليم.

وبعد الندوة، سينضم المندوبون إلى جولة في وجهات تاريخية في باندا نايرا ويشاركون في المهرجان.

Maluku, Indonesiaalyoum.com – More than 300 delegates embarked on an overnight cruise on board the passenger ship KM Pangrango in the on Friday (10/11) to attend a seminar in Neira, Maluku, commemorating the of the of .

The , signed in the Dutch city of on July 31, 1667, resulted in England transferring control of the then-lucrative spice island of Run in Maluku to the Netherlands in exchange for New Amsterdam, or modern-day Manhattan in New York.

The delegates, including historians, anthropologists, cultural experts, academics, government officials and diplomats from Indonesia’s missions in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the United States, are due to attend the seminar in Neira on Saturday.

The voyage from Ambon to Banda Neira also coincides with the Banda People’s Festival, which kicked off on Oct. 11 and ends on Saturday.

“The seminar will introduce the Banda Islands as a popular tourist destination. For centuries, Banda was known for its spices and natural attractions,” said Esthy Reko Astuti, deputy for tourism development at the Ministry of Tourism.

The KM Pangrango departed from Ambon on Friday and is due to arrive in Banda Neira at 6 a.m. on Saturday. The 350 participants will attend the seminar at Hatta-Sjahrir Banda Neira School of Teacher Training and Education.

After the seminar, the delegates will join a tour of historical destinations in Banda Naira and participate in the festival.

“Before sailing back to Ambon, we will have a gala dinner and a screening of the film ‘Banda: The Dark Forgotten Trail,’ by Jay Soebijakto,” Maluku Tourism Agency head Ona Saimima said.
