إندونيسيا تستعد لزراعة 20 ألف هكتار من الأرز لصالح فلسطين في مبادرة تضامنية تاريخية

جاكرتا، إندونيسيا اليوم – أعلن وزير الزراعة آندي عمران سليمان أن إندونيسيا ستسهم في إدارة 20 ألف هكتار من الأراضي الزراعية بالتعاون مع فلسطين بهدف زراعة الأرز والمحاصيل البستانية، وقال إنه سيتم إرسال معظم المنتجات إلى فلسطين كدعم غذائي طويل الأجل.

وصرح الوزير سليمان خلال مؤتمر صحفي أعقب توقيع مذكرة تفاهم مع وزير الزراعة الفلسطيني رزق بشير سليميا في جاكرتا يوم الاثنين: “نحن نقوم بإعداد مساحة تتراوح بين عشرة آلاف إلى عشرين ألف هكتار لحقول الأرز والبستنة”.
وأوضح سليمان أن فلسطين لديها خبرة متميزة في إدارة المياه وتكنولوجيا الري بالتنقيط نظراً لمزاياها الجغرافية الفريدة، الأمر الذي يجعلها شريكًا مناسبًا لتطوير قطاع البستنة في إندونيسيا.
وبموجب مذكرة التفاهم، من المقرر أن يزور خبراء فلسطينيون إندونيسيا لنقل وتطبيق تكنولوجيا الري الحديثة بهدف زيادة إنتاجية الأراضي الزراعية المشمولة بالتعاون في منطقتي جنوب سومطرة وكاليمانتان.
وأشار الوزير إلى أن المشروع يهدف إلى تصدير معظم الإنتاج، خاصة الأرز المزروع على مساحة عشرين ألف هكتار، إلى فلسطين في إطار التضامن الإنساني ودعم الأمن الغذائي الفلسطيني.
وأوضح سليمان أن هذه المبادرة جاءت في سياق اهتمام الرئيس برابوو سوبيانتو بالقضية الفلسطينية، وأنها تعكس رؤية مشتركة لتعزيز التعاون في مجال التكنولوجيا والموارد والاستفادة المتبادلة بين البلدين، خاصة في مجالات الري والتنمية البستانية.

وأشار إلى أن التعاون بين الطرفين قد يؤدي إلى إنتاج نحو 200 ألف طن من الأرز سنويًا بالإضافة إلى محاصيل بستانية مثل الطماطم، الخيار والثوم. وأضاف أن المشروع مصمم ليكون مستدامًا ومرنًا ومفتوحًا للتوسع مستقبلاً، إذ يجمع بين روح التضامن الإنساني ورؤية السيادة الغذائية المشتركة.
من جانبه، أعرب الوزير الفلسطيني بشير سليميا عن بالغ شكره وتقديره للحكومة الإندونيسية على دعمها المستمر لفلسطين، قائلاً: “أعبر عن خالص الامتنان والتقدير لإندونيسيا على دعمها المتواصل لفلسطين بمختلف المجالات، وخاصة دعم حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني”.
يُذكر أن البلدين وقعا مذكرة تفاهم للتعاون في المجال الزراعي، تهدف إلى تعميق العلاقات الاستراتيجية ودعم الجهود الإنسانية المشتركة. وتشمل المذكرة التعاون في تطوير المنتجات الزراعية، وبناء القدرات في صناعة البذور، التكنولوجيا الحيوية، إدارة الأعمال الزراعية، الآلات والمعدات، احتياطيات الغذاء، وغيرها من المجالات الزراعية الحيوية.

Jakarta, Indonesia alyoum – Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman has announced that Indonesia will co-manage 20 thousand hectares of land with Palestine to grow rice and horticultural crops, and send the majority of the produce to the Middle Eastern nation.
“We are preparing 10 to 20 thousand hectares of land for rice fields and horticulture,” Sulaiman said at a press conference after signing an MoU with Palestinian Minister of Agriculture, Rezq Basheer-Salimia, in Jakarta on Monday.
He highlighted that Palestine excels in water management due to its geographical advantages. It has special expertise in drip irrigation technology, which is suitable for horticulture development.
Under the collaboration, Palestinian experts will visit Indonesia to introduce the irrigation technology to increase the productivity of agricultural land that Palestine will co-manage in the South Sumatra and Kalimantan regions.
Most of the production, including rice grown on the 20 thousand hectares of land, is planned to be sent to Palestine as a form of long-term food support and humanitarian solidarity, the minister informed.
“This is the concern from President Prabowo Subianto for Palestinians,” he added.
The cooperation scheme will involve technology and resource collaboration, with Indonesia benefitting from knowledge transfer, especially in the fields of irrigation and horticultural development, he added.
Sulaiman said that the collaboration could lead to the production of 200 thousand tons of rice per year, in addition to horticultural commodities such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and garlic.
He added that the project will be sustainable, flexible, and open to expansion, since it combines the spirit of humanity with the vision of food sovereignty that is mutually beneficial for both countries.
On the same occasion, Minister Basheer-Salimia expressed his gratitude for the attention and consistent support of the Indonesian government.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Indonesian government. Thank you for supporting Palestine in all aspects, especially for supporting the rights of the Palestinian people,” he said.
The two nations signed the MoU on cooperation in agriculture to strengthen strategic and humanitarian relations.
The MoU covers cooperation in the development of agricultural products and strengthening capacity in various fields in the agricultural sector, such as the seed industry, biotechnology, agribusiness management, agricultural tools and machinery, and food reserves, among others.
