المالديف و”وسطا”: شراكة استراتيجية لتعزيز الخطاب الديني المعتدل

ماليه، 5 مايو 2025، إندونيسيا اليوم – في خطوة تعكس الرؤية الاستراتيجية للتحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب، أطلقت جمهورية المالديف اليوم (الاثنين) برنامجًا تدريبيًا رائدًا تحت عنوان “بناء قدرات الأئمة والدعاة”، وذلك بالتعاون مع التحالف الإسلامي ضمن مبادرة “وسطا” الهادفة إلى ترسيخ الخطاب الديني المعتدل في الدول الأعضاء. يستمر البرنامج حتى 8 مايو الجاري، ويستهدف تعزيز مهارات الخطاب والتواصل لدى رجال الدين، وتأهيلهم فكريًا ومهنيًا لمواجهة التحديات الراهنة.

ويأتي اختيار المالديف لاستضافة هذا البرنامج انطلاقًا من مكانتها الفريدة في العالم الإسلامي؛ فهي تجمع بين الانتماء العميق للدين الإسلامي والانفتاح على الثقافات العالمية، ما يجعل منها جسرًا حضاريًا في قلب المحيط الهندي، ونموذجًا ملهمًا للتوازن بين الأصالة والحداثة.

غير أن المؤسسات الدينية في المالديف تواجه جملة من التحديات، أبرزها الطبيعة الجغرافية للجزر المتناثرة، ومحدودية الموارد التدريبية، إلى جانب التحديات الناتجة عن السياحة الثقافية المتزايدة، والتي تستدعي تقديم صورة متوازنة عن الهوية الإسلامية في ظل الانفتاح العالمي.

وفي هذا السياق، يرى التحالف أن توفير الدعم الفكري والتقني للأئمة والدعاة المالديفيين من شأنه أن يحول تلك التحديات إلى فرص، عبر تطوير خطاب ديني يجمع بين الأصالة والواقعية، ويجعل من الدعاة جسورًا للتفاهم الحضاري ونماذج حية للإسلام الوسطي.

وتؤكد الشراكة بين المالديف والتحالف الإسلامي على أهمية التضامن الفكري بين الدول الإسلامية في مواجهة التطرف، حيث يشكل البرنامج منصة لتبادل الخبرات والتجارب الناجحة، ونموذجًا لتوظيف الإمكانات اللوجستية مع الحفاظ على الخصوصيات الثقافية لكل دولة.

وفي هذا السياق، شدّد البرنامج على ضرورة إدماج الفكر الوسطي في السياسات الوطنية، سواء عبر إدراجه في المناهج الدينية، أو تضمينه في استراتيجيات الإرشاد الوطني، أو من خلال برامج التأهيل المهني للأئمة والخطباء.

وتجسد مبادرة “وسطا” قناعة راسخة بأن المواجهة الفكرية مع التطرف لا يمكن أن تبقى حبيسة الشعارات، بل لا بد أن تتحول إلى برامج عملية ومؤسسات فاعلة. ومن هذا المنطلق، تُعدّ شراكة المالديف والتحالف نموذجًا يُحتذى به للتعاون الإسلامي في مواجهة التحديات الفكرية، وإثباتًا عمليًا أن الاعتدال ليس خيارًا تكميليًا، بل ضرورة استراتيجية لبناء مستقبل آمن ومتوازن.

In a strategic move aligned with the vision of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), the program “Building the Capacities of Imams and Preachers,” hosted by the Maldives, emerges as a thoughtful and meaningful initiative.

But why specifically the Maldives?

The Republic of Maldives represents a unique regional model—combining deep Islamic identity with openness to the world. This distinctive blend positions the country as a cultural bridge in the Indian Ocean and a natural testing ground for the effectiveness of moderate discourse, offering a replicable model of religious and cultural balance.

However, we must also acknowledge the challenges faced by our religious institutions, which are rooted in our dispersed island geography, limited access to training resources, and the nature of cultural tourism. Many visitors come not only to enjoy our beaches and resorts but also to explore our Islamic heritage and cultural identity.

With the right support, these challenges can become opportunities. Maldivian preachers can develop a message that fuses authenticity with relevance, serving as cultural ambassadors with a lived example of moderate Islam in action.

This is where the partnership with IMCTC becomes vital. The collaboration between the Coalition and the Maldives reflects a recognition of the role played by every member state in the ideological battle against terrorism. This partnership also stands as a model for leveraging logistical capabilities while respecting cultural identity—creating space for meaningful exchange between Muslim nations.

IMCTC emphasizes the integration of moderate thinking into national policies through its training program—by incorporating the program within religious education curricula, embedding it into national guidance strategies, and including it in the professional development of imams.

For all these reasons, I believe this partnership between IMCTC and the Maldives serves as a model for effective Islamic cooperation—transforming the ideological fight against extremism from mere slogans into actionable programs, and demonstrating that moderation is not merely an option, but a strategic necessity of our time.
