- قدّم الرئيس الإندونيسي برابوو سوبيانتو التعازي في وفاة الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني خلال زيارة لسفارة قطر في جاكرتا وكتابة رسالة في سجل التعازي.
- ترى الحكومة أن هذه الزيارة تجسّد تقدير إندونيسيا لإسهامات الأمير الوالد في مسيرة قطر الحديثة، وتعكس في الوقت نفسه عمق العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين.
- يُستذكر في الخبر دور الشيخ حمد في إطلاق إصلاحات واسعة وتطوير قطاع الغاز الطبيعي المسال وإنشاء شبكة «الجزيرة»، إضافة إلى مساهمته في تعزيز العلاقات مع إندونيسيا قبل تسليم الحكم لنجله الأمير تميم.
جاكرتا، إندونيسيا اليوم – عبّر رئيس جمهورية إندونيسيا برابوو سوبيانتو عن خالص تعازيه في وفاة الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، الأمير الوالد في دولة قطر والأمير السابق للبلاد، ووالد أمير قطر الحالي.
وقدّم الرئيس واجب العزاء خلال زيارته سفارة دولة قطر في جاكرتا، يوم الأربعاء، حيث حرص على توقيع سجل التعازي والتضرع بالدعاء للفقيد.
ووصل الرئيس إلى مبنى السفارة في نحو الساعة الثانية عشرة وأربعين دقيقة ظهرًا بالتوقيت المحلي، وكان في استقباله وزير الخارجية الإندونيسي سوجيونو، وسفير دولة قطر لدى إندونيسيا سلطان بن مبارك سعد الدوسري.
وتوجّه الرئيس برابوو إلى قاعة التعازي، حيث دوّن رسالته في سجل التعازي وقدّم احترامه الأخير للأمير الوالد، ورفع الدعاء له، وذلك وفق بيان صادر عن الأمانة العامة للرئاسة.
وكتب الرئيس في سجل التعازي: «باسم حكومة جمهورية إندونيسيا، أود أن أعبر عن أحرّ التعازي وصادق المواساة في وفاة سمو الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني».
وتضرّع الرئيس بالدعاء أن يُنعم الله على الفقيد بمقام كريم عنده، وأن يتقبله بواسع رحمته.
ورأت الحكومة الإندونيسية أن زيارة الرئيس إلى سفارة دولة قطر تعبّر عن تقدير الدولة للإسهامات الكبيرة التي قدّمها الأمير الوالد الراحل، وتجسّد في الوقت نفسه متانة العلاقات الودية التي تربط بين إندونيسيا وقطر منذ سنوات طويلة.
من جانبه، قال وزير الخارجية الإندونيسي سوجيونو إن الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني كان شخصية محورية في مسيرة دولة قطر الحديثة، وأسهم بدور أساسي في تحويلها إلى قوة صاعدة على الساحة الدولية.
وأضاف: «لقد كان قائدًا لعب دورًا مهمًا في جعل دولة قطر ذات تأثير واسع في محيطها الإقليمي والدولي».
وكانت دولة قطر قد أعلنت وفاة الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني يوم الأحد ١٢ يوليو/تموز عن عمر ناهز الرابعة والسبعين عامًا.
وخلال فترة حكمه الممتدة من عام ١٩٩٥ إلى عام ٢٠١٣، أطلق الشيخ حمد سلسلة إصلاحات واسعة غيّرت وجه الاقتصاد والمجتمع في قطر، من بينها تطوير صناعة الغاز الطبيعي المسال، وإنشاء شبكة «الجزيرة» الإعلامية.
كما أسهم الأمير الوالد في تعزيز العلاقات مع إندونيسيا، إذ التقى الرئيس الإندونيسي الأسبق سوسيلو بامبانغ يودويونو في مناسبتين على الأقل؛ الأولى في الدوحة عام ٢٠٠٦، والثانية في جاكرتا عام ٢٠٠٩.
وبعد تنازله الطوعي عن الحكم في عام ٢٠١٣، سلّم قيادة البلاد إلى نجله، أمير قطر الحالي الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، الذي استضاف الرئيس برابوو سوبيانتو في زيارتين رسميتين إلى الدوحة في أبريل/نيسان وسبتمبر/أيلول ٢٠٢٥.

JAKARTA, INDONESIA ALYOUM – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto expressed his condolences on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Qatar’s former emir and the father of the country’s current Emir.
The President paid his respects by visiting the Qatari Embassy in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Arriving around 12:40 p.m. local time, he was welcomed by Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono and Qatari Ambassador to Indonesia Sultan bin Mubarak Saad Al-Dosari.
The President proceeded to a room to convey his message through a book of condolences, paid his final respects, and offered prayers for the late Father Emir, according to a statement received from the Presidential Secretariat.
“On behalf of the government of the Republic of Indonesia, I would like to express our heartfelt condolences on the passing of His Highness Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani,” Prabowo wrote in the book of condolences.
He also prayed that the late former emir would be granted the best place alongside God.
The government described Prabowo’s visit to the embassy as reflecting the nation’s respect for the late Father Emir, and underscored the long-standing harmonious relations between Indonesia and Qatar.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Sugiono said Sheikh Hamad was a figure with a pivotal role in transforming Qatar into an emerging global power.
“He was also the leader who transformed Qatar into a highly influential country,” Sugiono said.
Qatar announced that the former emir passed away on Sunday (July 12) at the age of 74.
During his reign from 1995 to 2013, Sheikh Hamad introduced sweeping reforms that transformed Qatar, including developing the liquefied natural gas industry and establishing the Al Jazeera media network.
He also contributed to enhancing ties with Indonesia, meeting then-President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on at least two occasions, first in 2006 in Doha and later in Jakarta in 2009.
After voluntarily abdicating in 2013, he handed over leadership to his son, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who hosted President Prabowo in Doha in April and September 2025.
